Transfer by coach and guided tour on foot A coach will take you to Aulne Abbey. A Cistercian abbey, according to legend, it was founded by Saint Landelin in 657. In 1147, the Prince-Bishop of Liège, Henri II of Leyen, offered Aulne to Saint Bernard, the abbot of Clairvaux, propagator of the Cistercian reformation. In the 16th and 18th centuries, the "Ada" was to encounter its abbot builders. In 1794, it was destroyed by French revolutionaries. Accompanied by a guide, you will walk in the court of honour, admire the remains of the grandiose abbey church from the 13th century and learn all about the life of the monks and the workings of the abbey. The tour of the ruins, which are extremely beautiful, will be followed by a visit to the Val de Sambre brewery. This visit to a traditional micro-brewery, situated in one wing of the ancient buildings, will allow you to discover the famous beers of ADA abbey. In a beautiful, vaulted 18th century room, the brewer himself will show you the installations and explain the brewing process. The visit will end with a taste of the beer of your choice.

Take part in a guided tour of the old town on foot and visit the Galler chocolate factory.

Guided tour on foot. Duration: 2 h. For 200 years, this town was the most important town in northern Europe in the fields of trade, politics and art. Guided tour of the charming town on foot, which shows considerable architectural unity and played an essential role in the flowering of the Renaissance. Your walk will take you from the convent to the town hall. After the tour, you will have some free time, for Bruges is famous for its finely worked lace.
Transfer by bus and guided tour of the town on foot. Beer tasting at the Huyghes brewery. Duration around 3 h The historic heart of the town offers a variety of remarkable sites. From the top of the Saint-Michel bridge, you will have a surprising view over the silhouette of Ghent with its succession of three towers: Saint Nicolas' Church, the Belfry with its array of bells and Saint Bavon cathedral. It is this cathedral which houses the famous "Mystical Lamb" altarpiece by Jan Van Eyck (1432). There are also numerous remains from the Middle Ages: the old port, for instance, with the houses of the tradesmen's guilds on Herb Quay and Corn Quay (Graslei and Korenlei), is one of the most picturesque parts of the town.

A highly esteemed city in the 16th century, Antwerp was a pearl in the crown of Spain. Your walk will take you along the banks of the Schelde/Escaut to the city centre. You will see the Butchers' Hall, the City Hall and the imposing halls of the tradesmen's guilds which are a testimony to the past splendour of the Golden Age. The high point of this guided tour is the Cathedral of Our Lady which is home to some extraordinary works of art, including four paintings by Rubens, one of the most famous painters of the Antwerp Baroque.
NB: the tour inside the cathedral depends on the boat's arrival time, which is itself subject to the tides.
Coach transfer and guided tour of the castle on foot (inside and outside). The main body of the building, reworked a number of times over the centuries, was burnt down in 1900 and rebuilt between 1901 and 1906. All of the furnishings and artefacts which survived the fire have found their place in the castle. You will be able to admire the 18th century furniture, portraits of the owners and valuable porcelain from China as well as a wonderful library from the 17th century. Chance to explore the 45-hectare park, designed as an English garden, in a little train.

Guided tour on foot. Duration 2 h. The tour turns around the Grand'Place which is a good starting point from which to explore the town. This beautiful esplanade suffered the agonies of a fire following bombings in 1940. Numerous houses were destroyed but the southern side, flanked by the Halle aux Draps, escaped destruction. Triangular in form, the Grand'Place offers a lovely view of the cathedral towers. You will visit the cathedral and the oldest belfry in Belgium, two buildings listed as world heritage sites by UNESCO.
