The great historian, Jules Michelet, who was the most famous guest, now has his museum here. A must is his studio, which has been faithfully reconstructed at the top of the tower. An exhibition of paintings is permanently on show in the chateau and, in the gardens, are exhibitions of sculptures by great names such as Buffet, Dali, Mathieu, Folon, Delvaux and Cocteau.
