Boarding in Paris Quai André Citroën

Boarding quay:

Quai André Citroën in the Port de Javel-Bas (15th arrondissement) metro Javel or RER "C" "Boulevard Victor", between the Pont Mirabeau and the Pont Garigliano, just between the company RABONI and the boat STUDIO THALASSA, left bank, opposite the Parc André Citroën.

By train:

FROM THE GARE MONTPARNASSE:

Metro ? line 6, direction "Etoile" ? stop "La Motte Picquet Grenelle". Change and take line 10 ? direction Boulogne-Pont de Saint Cloud ? stop "Javel André Citroën.

FROM THE GARE DE LYON:

Cross the Pont de Gaulle to the Gare d'Austerlitz ? take RER "C", direction "Versailles St Quentin" ? get out at "Boulevard Victor".

FROM THE GARE ST LAZARE

Metro ? line 13, direction "Châtillon-Montrouge" ? stop "Invalides". Then take RER "C" ? direction "Versailles ? St Quentin" ? stop "Boulevard Victor".

FROM THE GARE DE L'EST:

Metro ? line 5 ? direction "Place de l'Italie" ? stop "Gare d'Austerlitz". Then take RER "C" ? direction "Versailles ? St Quentin" ? stop "Boulevard Victor".

Boarding in Paris Quai de Bercy

Boarding quay:

Quai de Bercy (12th arrondissement), metro station "Quai de Gare" near the Palais Omnisports between the Pont de Bercy and the Pont Tolbiac.

By air:

closest airport: PARIS ? ORLY Take the OrlyVal to "Antony", take RER "B" direction "Aéroport Charles de Gaulle" ? stop "Denfert Rochereau" ? take metro 6 ? direction "Nation" ? stop "Quai de la Gare". Cross the bridge. Turn right after the bridge.

By train:

FROM THE GARE MONTPARNASSE:

Metro line 6 direction "nation" ? stop "Quai de la Gare". Cross the bridge. Turn right after the bridge.

FROM THE GARE DE LYON:

Metro line 1 direction "Château de Vincennes" ? stop "Nation". Then take metro line 6 direction "Charles de Gaulle Etoile" ? stop "Quai de la Gare". Cross the bridge. Turn right after the bridge.

FROM THE GARE ST LAZARE:

Metro line 13 direction "Châtillon Montrouge" ? stop "Montparnasse-Bienvenue". Then take metro line 6 direction "Nation" ? stop "Quai de la Gare". Cross the bridge. Turn right after the bridge.

FROM THE GARE DE L'EST, THE GARE D'AUSTERLITZ AND THE GARE DU NORD:

Metro line 5 direction "Place de l'Italie" ? stop "Place de l'Italie". Then take metro line 6 direction "Nation" ? stop "Quai de la Gare". Cross the bridge. Turn right after the bridge.

Animals

For everyone's comfort and for reasons of hygiene and safety, animals are not allowed on board. Thank you for your understanding.

Money on board

All payments on board are in euro (cash, bank cards ? Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard, American Express but not Diners Club ? cheques). There are no currency exchange facilities or ATMs on the boat.

Climate

Seine Valley:

mild climate all year round, slightly windy when we get close to the coast. Sometimes hot and dry in summer.

Formalities

For people of French nationality, there are no particular formalities. We recommend, however, that you always carry your identity papers with you. Other nationalities, please refer to the authorities concerned.
Babies and children must also have valid identification or be included on the parents' passport (possible up to 14 years of age).

If you wish to prolong your stay in Paris or Honfleur, please contact us. We will be happy to provide you with a list of hotels.

Specific diet

Remember to inform your travel agent if you have a specific diet before your departure in order that your cruise runs as smoothly as possible.

Health

If you are travelling in the European Union, remember to ask the Social Security for the European card. This replaces form E111 and is valid for one year. It is free of charge but may take up to 4 to 5 weeks to be issued! In emergencies, the Social Security offices can issue you with a certificate which serves as an intermediate solution on request. Remember to bring any medication you are taking as well as a copy of your prescriptions.

Air transport

We would ask you to respect the check-in times mentioned on your ticket / flight itinerary.

Baggage

In the event of damage to or non-delivery of your baggage by the airline company, please refer immediately to the baggage complaints department at your airport of arrival.
A complaints dossier will be opened. You must fill in a loss or damage statement and provide the following documents:
- the original of the loss or damage statement drawn up at the airport
- the passenger receipts for your airline tickets
- the original boarding pass
- the original baggage identification tags issued when checking in your baggage
Please keep them in a safe place.
We would remind you that the baggage weight limit is 20 kg per person. Furthermore, we would draw your attention to the fact that all sharp instruments such as Swiss Army knives, nail scissors, nail files, etc. must be put in the baggage you check in and not in your hand luggage. They may otherwise be confiscated.

What to pack

Remember to pack casual clothes, a sports outfit, a sweater for the evenings, a more formal outfit for the gala evening and, especially, comfortable walking shoes for the excursions. Towels are provided on the boat but there are no face flannels.
