Boarding in Paris Quai de Grenelle

Boarding quay:

Quai de Grenelle (15th arrondissement), between the "pont de Grenelle" (Grenelle Bridge) and "Pont de Bir hakeim" (Bir hakeim Bridge).

AIRPORT ACCESS THROUGH RER:

ORLY Airport

From the Airport : Take orly Val and commute at "Antony" station to RER B towards "aéroport Charles de Gaulle or Mitry-Claye"/ Exit at "St Michel" and commute to RER C towards "Versailles- Rive Gauche"/ Exit "Champ de Mars/ Tour Eiffel".
From the dock in grenelle : RER C towards "Dourdan la forêt"/ exit "St Michel", than commute to RER B towards "Antony". Exit in Antony and take Orly Val.

Roissy-Charles De Gaulle Airport

From the Airport : RER B towards PARIS/ Exit "St Michel" and commute to RER C towards "Versailles- Rive Gauche"/ Exit "Champ de Mars/ Tour Eiffel".
From the dock in Grenelle : RER C towards "Dourdan la forêt" /Exit "St Michel". Commute to RER B en direction de Roissy Charles de Gaulle

By train:

FROM THE GARE MONTPARNASSE:

From the station : Metro line 6 towards "Charles de Gaulle Etoile"/ exit at "bir Hakeim".
From the Dock in Grenelle : Metro line 6 towards "Nation" / Exit at "Gare Montparnasse"

FROM THE GARE DE LYON:

From the station : Walk across the "Pont de Gaulle" to Gare d'Austerlitz, than take RER C towards Versailles/St Quentin/ exit at "Champs de mars/ Tour Eiffel"
From the Dock in Grenelle : RER C towards Massy/Dourdan, exit at "Austerlitz", than walk across the "De Gaule" bridge to Gare de Lyon

FROM THE GARE ST LAZARE:

From the station : Metro line 13 towards "Chatillon-Montrouge" to the "Invalides" metro station. Then commute to RER line C towards "Versailles/ Saint Quentin en Yvelines"/ exit "Champ de Mars/ Tour Eiffel"
From the dock in Grenelle : RER C towards "Pontoise-Argenteuil / Massy-Dourdan" / exit at "Invalides", than comute to Metro line 13, towards "St Denis Université"/ Exit at "Saint Lazare"

FROM THE GARE DE L'EST:

From the station : Metro line 5 towards "Place d'Italie" / exit "Gare d'Austerlitz" Than take RER C towards "Versailles/ St Quentin" / Exit «Champs de Mars/ Tour Eiffel"
From the Dock in Grenelle: RER C towards "Massy-Dourdan" / exit "Gare d'Austerlitz" Than take Metro line 5 towards "Bobigny Pablo Picasso" / Exit "Gare de l'Est"

FROM THE GARE DU NORD:

From the station : RER B towards "Robinson St Remy les Chevreuse"/ Exit "Saint Michel". Commute to RER C towards "Versailles- Rive Gauche/ St Quentin en Yvelines" / Exit Champs de Mars/ tour Eiffel
From the dock in Grenelle : RER C towards "Massy Dourdan"/ Exit "St Michel" and commute to RER B towards "Charles de Gaule airport/ Mitry Claye"/ Exit "Gare du Nord".

Animals

For everyone's comfort and for reasons of hygiene and safety, animals are not allowed on board. Thank you for your understanding.

Money on board

All payments on board are in euro (cash, bank cards - Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard, American Express but not Diners Club - cheques). There are no currency exchange facilities or ATMs on the boat.

Climate

Seine Valley:

mild climate all year round, slightly windy when we get close to the coast. Sometimes hot and dry in summer.

Formalities

For people of French nationality, there are no particular formalities. We recommend, however, that you always carry your identity papers with you. Other nationalities, please refer to the authorities concerned.
Babies and children must also have valid identification or be included on the parents' passport (possible up to 14 years of age).

Hotel

If you wish to prolong your stay in Paris or Honfleur, please contact us. We will be happy to provide you with a list of hotels.

Specific diet

Remember to inform your travel agent if you have a specific diet before your departure in order that your cruise runs as smoothly as possible.

Health

If you are travelling in the European Union, remember to ask the Social Security for the European card. This replaces form E111 and is valid for one year. It is free of charge but may take up to 4 to 5 weeks to be issued! In emergencies, the Social Security offices can issue you with a certificate which serves as an intermediate solution on request. Remember to bring any medication you are taking as well as a copy of your prescriptions.

Air transport

We would ask you to respect the check-in times mentioned on your ticket / flight itinerary.

Baggage

In the event of damage to or non-delivery of your baggage by the airline company, please refer immediately to the baggage complaints department at your airport of arrival.
A complaints dossier will be opened. You must fill in a loss or damage statement and provide the following documents:
- the original of the loss or damage statement drawn up at the airport
- the passenger receipts for your airline tickets
- the original boarding pass
- the original baggage identification tags issued when checking in your baggage
Please keep them in a safe place.
We would remind you that the baggage weight limit is 20 kg per person. Furthermore, we would draw your attention to the fact that all sharp instruments such as Swiss Army knives, nail scissors, nail files, etc. must be put in the baggage you check in and not in your hand luggage. They may otherwise be confiscated.

What to pack

Remember to pack casual clothes, a sports outfit, a sweater for the evenings, a more formal outfit for the gala evening and, especially, comfortable walking shoes for the excursions. Towels are provided on the boat but there are no face flannels.
